Our purpose is to help children in extreme poverty in India.
We work with two partner organisations in West Bengal, India, to support children’s education and health. We help to provide shelter, food, education and fun. In many cases we eventually help provide a training that will be the foundation of a job and income.
We fund projects that support the education and life chances of children in Kolkata and the surrounding state of Bengal. These projects include:
the provision of nutrition and healthcare
the building and improvement of school facilities
the improvement of accommodation in children's homes
the provision of sustenance and clean water
support for individual learning and career training
We do this through raising funds in the UK, and sending 100% of all money raised to our trusted partner NGOs (non-government organisations) in India. INCH’s Trustees regularly visit our projects (at their own expense) and we are in continual touch with them by mail and online.
Our Trustees have known and supported these organisations for over 20 years. During this time we have developed great trust and admiration for the honesty, transparency, commitment and non-stop hard work of our partners.

our mission
To ensure that 100% of all monies raised benefit the children and their families in India.
To shelter and care for the most vulnerable of children. To provide a safe home, to educate, and ultimately to turn out a young person ready for independent life.
